A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
6-foot-3, 215-pound right-handed hitting catcher and first baseman. He only caught at the Future Games. The skill set behind the dish is excellent as he can really receive and the arm works short during the transfer. He has a good feel for the game and is command behind the dish. He threw 78 mph down to second base with a pop time of 2.08. He ran a 7.4 sixty on the laser at the event. The bat has an exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is semi-wide and the front foot is picked up and put down as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The hands are clean and simple to the ball. He showed the ability to stay in his legs. I would like to see him use the whole field a bit more but the skill set at the plate is advanced. He is a high level prospect.

6-foot-3, 215-pound, strong, physical durable frame for a catcher, has strength throughout, already filling out. A right-handed hitting catcher, comes from tremendous bloodlines. At the plate, even feet, strong quiet loaded hands, with a tilted setup. The lower half is under control, small pick up and put down, gains ground, hands are back on foot strike. The swing is level to up, barrel gets in the zone early, stays in there, creating a ton of backspin to the baseball, showing loft and lift to the swing. The exit velocity was clocked at 92 mph and ran a 7.47 sixty-yard dash, moves well for a bigger player. Behind the plate, shows a big arm, clocked at 78 mph, the feet are clean and quick. The pop time was recorded at 1.94-2.0. All throws were on the bag with downhill flight. Super athletic could help at first base as well. Look for him to be off the board at some point.
