1/26/20

6-foot, 190-pound, larger athletic frame, shows to have strength through out the frame. A right-handed hitting corner infielder, at the plate has an even set up, hands stay back uses a controlled toe tap for timing. The bat starting in more of a vertical position, swing is level through the zone, more of a pull approach with loft to the swing. The hands cast just so slightly, had a tee exit velocity of 82 mph and ran 4.53 from home to 1st. Defensively, the hands are super soft, shows very good flow and footwork moving well in both directions. The arm is clean, working out of a natural slot, clocked at 74 mph. Showed clean starts on the double play feeds. Off the mound, the fastball touched 76 mph, living in the bottom part of the zone. The delivery is repeatable, coil to athletic lift, direction is inline, arm works out of a clean 3/4 slot. Showed a changeup at 71-72 mph, throws a heavy ball. Like him both ways, a move to 1st could happen at some point.

6-foot, 190-pound, strong, physical athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, hands and wrists are strong. A right-handed hitting corner infielder. At the plate, starts slightly wider, hands are loose held just above the shoulders. Transfers the weight to the back side, small leg raise, gains ground with stride foot, using a toe tap for timing. The swing is strong and powerful, path is down to level to up, finishing with two hands above the shoulders. The approach is more line drive from the middle to pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph and is an average runner at 4.53 down the line. Defensively, feet and hands work with ease. Clean, proper prep steps, fields put front, with momentum getting to target. The arm action is short, clean and quick coming from a natural slot. The arm has enough strength to stick on the left side of the infield, clocked at 77 mph. Moves well to glove side, starts and double play feeds were performed correct with rhythm and tempo. Pro-move was made with ease. Solid prospect, could work at first base as well at the next level.

Arm Velocity: 77 mph

3/25/18

5-foot-11, 165-pound, long lean athletic frame with plenty of room to fill out and add weight on. A right-handed hitting left side infielder, hands and feet are advanced for his age, they move throughout, gain ground towards target. The hands are super soft, clean transfer into throwing motion, arm works from a nation ¾ slot, arm acton is very short on the backside, throws more from his ear. The arm was clocked at 71 mph, showed to have enough strength from the left side, along with good touch on all throws, has more in his arm ashe gains strength. The double play starts were correct, gains ground with good flow. At the plate, has a simple balanced setup, feet are even, hands are held at the shoulders with tilt, are loaded and ready to hit. The swing is level to up, finishes with two hands at shoulder height, looks to finish early, could stay through it longer. The backside lower half is under control, slight drop on backside, could stay taller throughout, will help him keep head still with potentially getting bat head out front a bit more. The approach is more line drive to the pull side. Ran the sixty-yard dash on 7.99. An athletic kid, look for the game to continue to improve as he gets stronger and with more game experience.
