6-foot-2, 185-pound, strong, physical frame, already developing, the neck is long, shoulders are squared off. A right-handed hitting infielder, top tool is his ability to swing the bat. The stance is even, slightly wider than shoulder width. The hands are quiet and start just below the shoulders. The swing is very short to the baseball, stays level through contact and finishes high with one hand. The barrel stays in the zone a long time, hands are inside the baseball. Presently shows to have gap power, works the baseball from field to field. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, barrel has life and whip out front on contact. The stride foot gets a bit heavy could slow and ease it down a tick. Ran an 8.31 60 yard-dash. Defensively, hands are soft, moves well to both sides, works low to ground, feet move throughout. The backhand play was made with ease, stays low and comes through the baseball. The arm works from a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 73 mph, had good touch, with carry across the diamond. Projects better for me at third base rather than the middle, good from on glove side at the hot corner. The frame is durable and plays well for a third baseman. The straight line speed needs to continue to improve.

6-foot, 180 pounds, longer average athletic frame, shoulders are squared off, back is wide, has plenty of room to fill out. A right handed hitting infielder, the stance is balanced throughout, feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width apart, hands start in a good loaded position just above his shoulder, bat has some tilt to it and elbow gets extended out at times. The lower half is under control with a minimal stride, the swing is down to level to up, the approach is more middle to opposite, does a very good job keeping his hands inside the baseball. He shows to have power to the alleys, stays through baseball well. Showed the ability to get to inside pitch and keep it fair with some pop. Defensively, showed solid actions to and through the baseball, works from the ground up, fields the ball out front. The transfer is short and clean, he gets rid of it with no wasted movement. Arm was clocked at 67 mph across the diamond, moved well to the backhand side and mechanically the double play feeds were started correctly. Strength is a must, projects for me more as a corner infielder and on the path of really swinging the bat.
