5-foot-9, 150-pound, small athletic frame. The wrists and hands have strength to them. At the plate hits from the right side, feet are even, wider than shoulder width. The hands are held at the shoulders, with back elbow extended outward. For timing uses a a small quick leg kick, gets backside drive. The swing is level through the zone, hands cast and gets out and around the baseball at times, could keep them inside the baseball longer. The approach is more to the pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph and ran a7.88 sixty yard dash. Defensively had a pop time of 2.12-2.14, with the arm being clocked at 68 mph. The arm works out of a ¾ slot, shows to have a clean arm path. The transfer is quick, gains ground with footwork, could finish the throw more, letting the backside come through. At third base, soft hands, arm worked out of a ¾ slot, clocked at 71 mph across the diamond. Moved well to both sides, getting rid of the baseball quickly. An athlete, interesting to see the progress over the next year.
