Finlay Thomson: OF/RHP, (2024) Barrington, RI. 6-foot, 165-pound lanky athletic build. (67.6 mph bat speed average). (23.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a quick controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Had a short uphill swing plane, quick explosive bat speed and balanced finish. Found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Capable projectable from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 78 mph; has consistent next level hands, athletic feet, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball to the side. Used a loose arm action with uninterrupted slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base.
