A right-handed hitting two way player, at the plate, even feet at the shoulders, hands held higher, lower half is under control, simple pick up and put down. The swing is flat through the zone, finishes it with two hands at the shoulders. The approach is more to pull side, could stay through it a tick longer, had a tee exit velocity of 85 mph, shows to have above average bat speed. Runs and moves well, clocked at 4.43 from home to first. Showed hard solid contact in two rounds of batting practice, producing one line drive after another. Defensively, arm was clocked at 74 mph from a higher slot. The hands are soft out front, simple transfer gaining ground. The feet and hands work well together, good rhythm and timing. The feeds and starts were performed correct. Off the mound, this right-hander has a simple delivery, easy lift, direction is across the body, could length stride. The arm action is clean on the backside, working out of a higher slot. The fastball was clocked at 73-75 mph, located down in the zone. The breaking pitch shows correct spin, clocked at 63 mph, changeup still a work in progress clocked at 66 mph. Times to the plate were at 1.47. Like how the body works off the mound, arm shows to have quickness from side view.
