oey Conti: RHP/SS, (2024) Lincoln High School, RI. 5-foot-10, 168-pound athletic strong build. Above average during batting practice, Conti displayed an exit velocity of 87 mph, Ranks #2 with EV at the event. Began in a balanced athletic stance with a tight compact load, then used a short stride. Bat speed is quick, has a short an inside-out swing plane and high finish. He barreled up multiple balls with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 83 mph; had quick footwork, a clean exchange, and twitchy hands. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a short quick arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.08. Above average on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a short loose arm action. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and shows some effort. Showed strong balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-83 mph; has a heavy hard fastball that shows sinking action and both sides of the plate command. Threw a 1/7 curveball (71-73) that showed glove side control and slurvey late action. His changeup (76-77) had arm side command and fading swing and miss action. Love the projection and competitiveness on the mound.
