Nathan Cameron: LHP/OF, (2027) Smithfield, RI. 5-foot-4, 115-pound athletic slim frame. Raw during batting practice, Cameron recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a handsy load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was above average, displayed a short rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. Through the round he found some barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 70 mph. Projectable In the outfield, showed a twitchy exchange, soft hands, and quick aggressive feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Recorded a time of 8.26 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, used a short arm action and a high ¾ arm angle while showing developing arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with in line shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 66-68 mph; showed sinking action and arm side command. Threw a 11/5 curveball (57-58) that showed slurvey action and glove side control.

(20.1 mph hand speed average). Set up in a balanced stance with a handsy load. Bat speed was developing, shows a long uphill swing plane and level finish. Found a few barrels with loud contact. Base hit approach. Capable from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 66 mph; shows developing athletic feet, consistent developing hands, and a clean natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Projectable on the mound, showing developing arm speed he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Feel type pitcher and used some effort. Has falling off shoulder and consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 64-65 mph; shows command arm side around the zone and running action. (Max spin 1380; Avg 1301). Shows sweeping action and glove side command on his curveball (51-55). (Max spin 1188; Avg 1125). Throws a straight changeup (51-52).
