6-foot-1, 210 pounds, thick, durable frame. There is some present strength to the lower body and developing in the upper body. Hancock can tighten the frame as well to increase athleticism. As a hitter, Hancock posted a 91 MPH exit velocity. There is raw power here. The stance is open with an exaggerated leg kick. He rocks back in the swing before propelling into the ball. The swing has loft and the hands work around shoulder height. There are a lot of moving parts here. At times the mechanics can fall out of sync. Proving the ability to make quality contact against velocity and spin while maintaining balance is important. Defensively, the skills have shown growth since his last PBR workout. The receiving skills have continued to improve. His throws were measured up to 76 MPH out of the chute. He throws from a higher ¾ slot. The footwork has improved, the arm works cleanly, and the throws showed some carry. Pop times ranged between 1.93-2.10. Showing consistency in the sub 2.00 range is the next step. Hancock has delivered on improvement since his last showing. Looking forward to seeing him in game action on the summer circuit.
40-Yard Dash: 4.15
Exit Velocity: 91 MPH

Second time we have had a chance to see Reuben, pop time of 2.11. The feet and arm strength will need to continue to progress as well. Threw 69 mph down to second base on his throws during the workout. The receiving is headed in the right direction as his hands are soft. The ability to secure the catch is improving and he can handle most arms. Ran a 5.0 down the line on his dig. At the plate, has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph. The swing is contact driven, starts with the bat relaxed on his shoulder and the feet slightly open. The hands seem tied up at times as he attempts to stay inside the ball and maneuver the barrel. The swing is definitely under control and the approach is right. I like his game and the way its trending.

5-foot-8, 180-pound right handed hitting catcher who displayed a pop time of 2.2. Threw 68 mph from behind the dish. The transfer and footwork during throws to second have to improve as he matures. The receiving is on par at this point of his development, time on a pitching machine will help him soften his glove. Ran a 5.2 down the line on his dig to first base. At the plate, hits out of a wide base set up with a small pick and put down of the front foot. The hands are in tight to start as the path is long and flat to the ball. The finish is very good as he gets through the ball well. Tee exit velocity of 80 mph. Likes to play, should be fun to watch him progress.
