3/4/18

6-foot-3. 190-pound, super, long and lengthy athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded, has plenty of room for future development. A two way play, at the plate, showed to have lift, length and leverage to his swing. The stance is wider than shoulder width, feet are even to closed off and hands start higher above back shoulder, with the bat starting in a flat position. For timing uses a higher smooth leg kick, gains a good amount of ground. The swing is level to up, with more of a pull approach, shows to have above average power to the pull side. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph, with a ton more in there, projects out really be able to hit the long ball. Defensively, throws from an over the top slot, arm was clocked at 81 mph, action is clean on the back side. The prep steps were performed correct, uses more of a shuffle for the transfer, throws, were on target. Off the mound, this right-handed is aggressive and attacks the catcher. The delivery is simple, hands start and stay high, has coild to his high smooth leg raise. The direction is inline, with long straight stride, front arm has pull to it, loses direction with it at the end of the delivery.  The arm works from a high ¾ to over the top slot, has hand speed out front on release, fastball was clocked at 81-84 mph. The breaking ball acts like a cutter to small slider, clocked at 68-74 mph, showed feel for a changeup at 75-76 mph with depth. Potentially to have the velocity climb along with power potential at the plate, big follow for me.

60 Yard-Dash: 7.83

Tee Exit Velocity: 86 MPH

Arm Velocity: 81 MPH
