10/18/15

Had a very good day at Marist during the event. At third base, he shows a solid to slightly above average glove. The throwing path and footwork need coaching but he has the tools to do it. Moves very well left and right, getting off the ball correctly. The bat is solid, sets up with a wide stance and lets the hands do the work. He has plus power potential as his plate coverage is very good. He spreads the field with the bat very well. Would like to see him stay in his legs a bit more but as for raw potential to hit, he has a chance to be serious run producer.  Had 3 hits in the games at the Border Battle.

Second time I have seen Noah play. Third baseman with soft hands and the ability to make the throws across the diamond. Threw 77 to first, and got off the ball well in the game. At the plate, has a tee exit velocity of 91 as his hands are very quick. He hits out of high elbow start with a slight squat to his body. The barrel is maneuvered quickly but needs to stay in the zone longer.  The bottom half set up is even and quiet, as he uses his hands well. Ran a 4.78 down the line.

Potential power right-handed hitting catcher.  The bat stands out as he showed power in batting practice with room to improve in spreading the field.  The setup is clean and his hands work very well through the ball.  On the defensive side, he shows the ability to receive the ball and the arm strength to make average throws.  The footwork and the transfer need to be cleaned up.  Keep an eye on the bat.
