10/21/17 Trunnell is 6-3 with a lanky frame, throws from a sidearm slot with a longer, loose arm action that is quick and some effort to his delivery. Shoulders are level and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish and recoil. Fastball was 79-81 with late run to it. Change-up was 71-73 with heavy sink and some armspeed. Curveball was 67-70 with late hard 10/4 break and good armspeed.
7/25/17 Showed a shorter whippy arm action with a long and lanky projectable frame. Gets elbow lift in his arm action with a just above side arm release. The pitcher still is growing into his body and did get out of balance at times, causing some inconsistent command. Sat 75-76 on the day and should get more as he matures.
