Neil Devlin From the Colorado Dugout: Interview with 2021 3B/C Landon Boyd of Legend High School

Neil Devlin

It’s about to start happening for Landon Boyd.

He’s 14-years old and a freshman at Legend High School in Parker. His brother, Justin, is a junior for the Class 5A Titans and has committed to Oregon State. And his father, Scott, who runs a club team, was appointed head coach for the Titans the past June.

And Landon will get his first taste of varsity high-school baseball.

Of his first prep foray, he said “it has been something I’ve always wanted to do, since I was 3.”

Never mind his father being the coach – Landon Boyd won’t be asking for anything or expecting anything. The first-year catcher-third baseman, 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, and still growing, is all right taking a wait-and-see approach.
