PBR: Why did you choose WNEC?
Scheid: I love the campus, it has a terrific business school. Also I feel if I work hard I can help right away with the pitching staff.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?
Scheid: I was offered 50% athletically from Concordia college in New York. AIC offered me a roster spot. And schools like Nichols, Manhattanville College, and Mitchell college.

PBR:  Where did the coaches first see you compete and how did your relationship develop with the rest of the coaching staff?
Scheid: Coach Gomez first saw me in round one of states against #3 ranked in the state Waterford. I pitched against a D1 arm he not hit my team. I gave up four hits and lost 1-0 with 9 strikeouts.

PBR: What role does the coaching staff expect you to play during your first year on campus?
Scheid: They think I could have the opportunity to help right away .

PBR: How excited were you to have your commitment out of the way?
Scheid: It's great, I can now focus on school.

PBR: Who has had the biggest impact on you as a baseball player?
Scheid: Coach Goose Gozzo really help take me to the next level.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was your most exciting experience playing summer ball?
I play for Gooses Gamers, we were nasty. I went 11-1 on the mound.

PBR: What were your stats last season?
Scheid: High school : 5-3 2.27 ERA 59 innings pitched 76 strikeouts

Summer/Fall: 11-1 1.32 era 69 innings pitched 86 strikeouts

PBR: How has PBR helped in your recruitment process?
Scheid: Trevor Brown is a good guy to know.

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter you have faced in?
Scheid: Some kids on Virginia cardinals committed to Virginia and Vandy.

PBR: Thoughts on this upcoming season?
Scheid: I want to win states.
