Mike Rosenbaum
Senior Prospect Analyst

Player: Alex Ulloa
Position: INF

School: Calvary Christian Academy HS (Fla.)

A member of national prep powerhouse Calvary Christian, as well as an Oklahoma State commit, Ulloa can impact games in a variety of ways with his blend of standout tools and athleticism. At 5-foot-11, 180 pounds, Ulloa is physically strong for his size. He has above-average bat speed and natural life in his right-handed swing and makes a lot of hard contact, recording exit velocities up to 102 mph. Ulloa’s athleticism gives him good balance at the plate even though he employs a high leg kick and elongated stride. Defensively, Ulloa exhibits smooth, easy actions on the infield, with good hands and footwork and arm strength that can produce 93-mph darts across the diamond.
