October 29, 2019
PBR Iowa strives to be the most comprehensive source of player information across the state. The Prep Baseball Report is the No. 1 resource for high school baseball in each state we cover through our variety of events, boots-on-the-ground scouting staff, daily coverage, and multimedia platforms. Our multimedia platforms and events work in tandem, ultimately creating the most powerful source of high school baseball promotion in each state. While other organizations take a national approach, our goal is to become the authoritative voice on the ground level of each state.

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
MCCOY: Morningside, Coe, NIACC, Briar Cliff and many other NAIA schools in the state.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
MCCOY: Morningside and NIACC are the only visits I have done as of right now. I plan to visit more colleges in the near future to find the perfect fit for me.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school?
MCCOY: Medical Programs as well as a baseball program that presents the best opportunity for myself and my future. Location of the school is not a concern to me.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
MCCOY: During my junior year I was part of the All-State team, All-District team, and All-Conference team, as well as the All Northwest Iowa team. I hit over .470 and only had 2 strikeouts on the year. My on base percentage was right around .600. To add to this, I had 4 triples, 2 home runs, and 8 doubles.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
MCCOY: To commit to a school, and take Alta-Aurelia back to the state tournament. I also would like to have a season similar to last and make the all-state team for the second year in a row.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
MCCOY: I compete in football, track, and basketball. During my offseason in the spring I attend many showcases and work in the cages to improve my swing.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
MCCOY: My ACT is a 23 and my current GPA is a 3.92.
