Bryce Hingst, C/1B, Waukee, Class of 2015 Bryce Hingst

PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
HINGST:
I have talked to many colleges recently. Central College, Iowa Central CC, Dakota County TC, Luther College, Marshalltown CC, Arizona Western CC, and have received interest from others as well.

PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
HINGST: I have taken a visit to Central College and to Dakota County TC. I have also planned a visit to Iowa Central CC in the near future.

PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
HINGST:
There are 3 main things I would like my school to have. I am looking for a school with academic excellence with great business marketing and/or political science programs. I am looking for a school that I will enjoy living at for my next 2-4 years; as if it was a home away from home. And I am looking for a baseball program that will make me the best baseball player I can possibly become.

PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
HINGST: My greatest highlight was definitely making it to state and playing at Principal Park. It was a great atmosphere and a great experience that I will never forget.

PBR: What are your goals for this year?
HINGST: Our goals for this year as a team is to not just to get to Principal Park, but to be playing our best baseball there as well. We truly believe we have the team to do that this year.

PBR: Do you play any other sports?
HINGST:
I also play football during the fall.

PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?

HINGST: My ACT is currently a 24 and I am taking the test again in February. My GPA is a 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.
