West Coast Games - Invite Accepted: Trey Swygart (Team Idaho)

The West Coast Games has quickly established itself premier event for Uncommitted rising upperclassmen on the West Coast, this event will give an unparalleled opportunity to each player in attendance by delivering a “one-stop-shop” for college coaches to recruit in the city of Las Vegas. Beyond the on-looking eyes of scouts and coaches, PBR’s unmatched coverage and commitment to elevating players via advanced metrics and technology (Trackman, Blast, Driveline), along with multiple social media platforms, will provide elite exposure for each player in attendance.

For the first time, PBR Idaho will be represented at the West Coast Games where they will compete against California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Pacific Northwest and Canada. The Gem State has proven they have the present talent in the 2023 and 2024 Classes to compete against the rest of the West Region and this event will prove that as we assemble an exciting group of Idaho prospects.

Body: 6-foot-3 , 205-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Tall, athletic set up. Simple coiled load. Hands are short to the ball. Excellent extension through the zone with some lift in his extension. Produced one of the best overall rounds of the day. Lived gap to gap. Flashes of present power. 
Power: Max TrackMan Exit Velocity - 94.1, Avg. TrackMan Exit Velocity - 84.6 mph. 
Arm: RH. IF - 82 mph. C - 75 mph
Defense: IF. Confident IF actions. Hops into his set up. Corner IF type. Feel for the forehand and backhadnd play.  C. 1.93-2.03 Pop Time. Athleticism translates behind the plate. Efficient, quick catch and throw. Flexible in his set up. Strength is obvious in his hands with quiet receiving. 
Run: 7.71 runner in the 60. 

Delivery: Hybrid start. Quick tempoed delivery. Drop and drive type. Works to get down the mound. Lands slightly closed. Finishes over his front side. Repeats well.
Arm Action: RH. Short, quick arm cycle. High ¾.
FB: 79.3-81.9 mph, up to 82.1 mph. 2057 Avg. Spin Rate. Strike thrower. Some present arm side life with heaviness. 
SL: 70.9-73.5 mph. 2557 Avg. Spin Rate. Some 11/5 shape, some sweeping action. Later tight action. Consistent strike pitch. 
CH: 71.8-73.1 mph. 1308 Avg. Spin Rate. Excellent feel for the pitch. Locates down in the zone. Present heavy action. Repeats FB arm speed well.
