Five Uncommitted 2021 Position Players

Chris Fuller
Kentucky Director of Scouting

Saying 2020 has been anything but normal would be an understatement, and the same applies to the amateur baseball world. With the Covid-19 pandemic, there is a back log of players at the college level, and that trickle down effect has led to a number of good players in the 2021 class still being uncommitted. The following is a look at five uncommitted position players who have the ability to make an immediate impact at the college level.

Incorporates speed into game (6.96 60-yard dash). Registered a max exit velocity of 91.77 in BP. Blast metrics solid across the board. Defensively, works through the ball well as both a MIF and OF. Takes good routes in the OF while also showing good lateral infield movement. Arm strength plays at both positions with strong accurate throws. 84 mph across the infield, 87 from the outfield. Burwash is a solid all-around player who plays the game with high energy.
