Apex Friendship won a rained shortened game after six innings 11-4 behind starting pitcher Cam Williams.  The Patriots opened up an 8-2 lead after two innings of play and cruised to the win.


Williams made enough quality pitches to strikeout seven batters in three innings, earning the win on the bump. Northern Durham relief pitcher, Charles McDowell,  kept the game within range, working 4 innings with eight strikeouts. 


Apex Friendship’s offense was paced by Jared Deshazor and Connor Wong.  Northern Durham’s Seth Lumpkin went 3-4.
