Name: AJ Cotton
Class: 2017
Commitment: Concordia

Position: C/RHP
Height/Weight: 6-foot-4, 215 pounds

PBR: Why did you choose Concordia?
Concordia just felt like the right fit to me. Also to help further my education and athletic capabilities.
PBR: What other schools were you considering?
I was considering Buena Vista University, Midland University, Kirkwood CC, Northwestern, Augustana, and a few others.
Concordia's coaching staff first saw me through in game and highlight videos. My relationship developed with them when I went on my visit.
PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?
I feel very relieved that the process is over.
No not really. The deciding factor was between a handful of traits that I was looking in for a school that could fit my needs.
I feel that it has been my parents who have helped me the most through this process
I am not really sure. Personally it felt difficult but in reality the process went by pretty smooth.
For freshman year I will be a utility player at C, P, outfield, and 1st.
The most memorable baseball moment was when I played on the 2016 USA Midwest NTIS team in Cary, North Carolina.
I have played against Jordan Adell in the Perfect Game WWBA tournament in fall 2016.
