We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2021 Scout Day: Seacoast Pirates. This was a great opportunity for 2022-2024 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2021 Scout Day: Seacoast Pirates - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Danny Cammarota - Cammarota uses a simple, direct stroke to produce a lot of solid line drives.
- Aidan Sengenberger - Sengenberger showed a quick bat and serious juice to the middle of the field.
- Sabastian Lampert - Lampert is a strong athlete with real juice to the pull side.
- Nathaniel Leighton - Leighton is a quiet hitter with a quick bat. The ball jumps off his bat, with gap to gap carry.
THE ARMS
- Christopher Morton - Morton has a quick arm. The fastball was up to 86 MPH on the day, to go along with a hard breaking pitch and feel for a changeup.
- Charlie Winter - Winter showed a clean delivery and a projectable frame. The fastball has some tilt, sitting in the low 80’s.
- Joe Yanzo - Yanzo works out of a higher slot, producing some tilt on a fastball that topped out at 82 MPH. The changeup is a good looking pitch, while the breaking ball showed good shape.
THE DEFENDERS
- Owen Bateman - Bateman showed arm strength from the outfield.
- Matthew Minckler - Minkler is an athletic, fluid defender in the middle of the diamond.
- Nathaniel Leighton - Leighton showed good actions and a strong arm behind the plate.
- Aidan Sengenberger - Sengenberger is an athletic catcher with a quick release behind the plate.
