Kitura went down to Georgia as one of Canada’s can’t-miss positional prospects and he lived up to the hype, drawing tons of interest from coaches in attendance. Started of Workout Day with a 6.87 60-yard (3.85/30-yard) and was 77mph across the diamond, although he handled RF during the week and did so at a high-level with a highlight reel diving catch. It’s an athletic profile and comes with projection at 6-foot-3, 170-pounds. The left-handed hitter consistently gets on-plane with a handsy swing that allows him to make mid-pitch adjustments. Generates hard contact to all fields and came through with a single at 99mph off the bat. Intriguing overall profile and has likely already fielded several phone calls from Division I programs.

Throughout the spring, and continuing through May, Kitura was not only one of the top hitters on a talented Vauxhall team, but in the entire province. The 6-foot-0, 175-pound 2026 was one of the best players at the annual Vauxhall tournament. He had multiple hits in several games, including a grandslam and numerous extra base hits. He started off the month making a name for himself at the Best of the West against some of the top arms in the country. The athletic LHH can also play all over the field at a high level. Come August 1st, when the recruiting window opens for 2026s, Kitura will be one of the most sought after players in Canada.
