Uncommitted infielder with some playable tools, Cardoso shows some pop from the left side, which is his best attribute. The 2018 grad is a little loud with his stance, and there’s a lot of moving parts, but he still manages to get the barrel out to showcase some pull-side power. At 6-2, 195-pounds, he’s near his ceiling, though his swing should translate at the next level. In the field his actions are clean, but a little slow right now. With more reps he has a chance to stay at a corner position down the road, but his athleticism could also be used in the outfield.
