Listed at 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, athletic build, quick actions. McDowell is one of the most improved players in the country, the Okotoks Dawgs outfielder still has plenty room to grow physically, he uses the whole field offensively while the hand-eye and level swing make him a very tough out at the plate. Defensively, he is reliable at multiple positions, the glove works on the infield but his speed transfers very well in the outfield as well and with developing arm strength he continues to look better out there.
