Listed at 5-foot-9, 155 pounds, Hines hit some hard line drives during his round of BP and also threw off the mound at the Calgary event. At the plate he had a smooth swing but has room to add some pop when he better learns to use his legs. He has a good swing path with strong hands allowing him to make good contact. On the mound he filled up the strike zone with his fastball and flashed a decent breaking ball that will improve with better tempo.
