Listed at 5-foot-11, 180-pounds, physical and strong kid. The uncommitted 2020 had the top outfield velocity of 83 mph at the Edmonton Showcase which was a massive improvement from when we saw him last at the South Jasper Scout Day. King has continued to gain strength and size and has clearly been working hard on improving athleticism. At the plate, he showed an improved approach as well, line drive swing and not trying to get too big, tends to get pull happy but showed power potential during his bp session.

Listed at 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, King performed in both the infield and the outfield at this scout day and also ran the third fastest 60-Yard Dash. In the outfield he had good throwing mechanics that resulted in a positional velocity of 68 mph. At the plate he had a line drive swing with a one handed finish that did damage to his pull side. He recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph which was one of the top velocities of the day.
