Listed at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds, Weder took reps all over the diamond at the Calgary event. He looked the most comfortable during the outfield portion of the event going after the ball aggressively and topping out at 77 mph. At the plate he stayed up the middle with a simple swing that has the potential to add more power, his exit velocity reached 80 mph. On the mound he sat between 73 and 75 mph and can expect to see that number climb with more intent. He has a compact arm action that with added size and strength will suit him well.
