Slider: 76-78mph, 1598rpm (T1653), 5.2” IVB, 0.3” HB, 43% Strike%.
Changeup: 76-78mph, 1524rpm, 10.8” IVB, 13.4” HB, 27% Strike%.
The 2027 SS/RHP had one of the best overall days at the Calgary Summer ID. Standing at 6-foot-2, 155-pounds, Dyck possesses a projectable frame with plenty of room to add strength. With a short and quick arm on the mound, Dyck was able to command his fastball up to 86 mph that was paired with two breaking balls and a changeup with late depth. At the dish, Dyck has an inside out swing that allows him to drive the ball to all fields. The ability to create torque in his lower half indicates the potential for future power. From shortstop, Dyck is able to use his natural athleticism to provide range and smooth hands, pairing it with infield velocity of 85 mph. The Webber Academy products' projectability and athleticism make him a 2027 to keep an eye on going forward.
