Hembling is a 2026 graduate, standing in a 6-foot, 205-pounds. On the mound he showed repeatable actions, living low-to-mid 70s with his fastball. He also mixed in a curveball & knuckleball into his repertoire. At the plate, he's a bit louder, reaching a peak exit velocity of 94.1, while finishing long with his follow-through. With time on his side, Hembling has the body to be a physical presence on the diamond.
Hembling’s physicality at the plate was evident at the Don Plotsky Memorial Tournament last weekend in Sherwood Park. The 2026 stands at 6-0, 210-pounds and looks to do damage every time he steps to the plate. The LHH had a hard hit double to the wall in right on friday, and followed that up with a triple to the left-center-field gap in his next at bat. He showed the ability to drive the ball with authority to all fields. Hembling has been one of the top hitters in AAA so far, and will look to continue on that path as the season continues.
