Uncommited. What a first showing for Santiago on the first day of Showdown at Lakepoint. In his first at-bat Santiago showed off the strength by taking a 3-2 slider and depositing it over the left-field wall with an exit velocity at 94. Santiago did not stop there; he continued to obliterate balls during the game. Following up the home run, in his second at-bat he hit a backside single for an RBI at an exit velocity of 98. In his third at bat hit a ball right at the shortstop at an exit velocity of 96. The strength is real for Santiago. There is limitless power potential in Santiago’s profile, as the rising junior will be a hot commodity come August 1st.
