2/28/18 - Athletic 6-foot-2, 180-pound RHP with strong build. Strike thrower, who needs to use inner 1/3 more frequently. Showed three useable pitches, flashing plus secondary stuff & FB up to 95 mph in 1st inning. Gradually lost sharpness on CB & a few ticks on his FB as outing progressed. Worked exclusively out of stretch, below average delivery with poor landing, head movement & effort, but has athleticism. Stabs out of glove with full arm path into OH release. Flashed above average life on FB, showing heavy bore & cut action on occasion, however the high slot produced mostly straight fastballs. Future bullpen piece, FB velocity & sharpness of secondary stuff should play up in shorter stints.
