Had a well-rounded showing at the plate during the doubleheader in the 1st Round of the 7A State Playoffs on Friday. The uncommitted junior wrapped up his day in the box going 5-for-6 combined in both games. Went a perfect 3-for-3 in Game 1, adding a double with a pair of base knocks in the playoff opener while scoring two runs as well. During Game 2 of the series, Mahan continued right where he left off, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and scoring three runs for the Falcons and securing the series sweep. Hits from an upright stance at 5-11, 180-pounds and showed some pop to the pull side in each contest.
