Once a reliever who was up to 94 mph with his fastball, Greenhill suffered a foot injury in late February and has transformed himself into a pitchability starter. He worked quick and attacked with his 87-90 mph fastball. At 6-foot-4, 215-pounds, he produced good angle on his pitches, throwing from a high three-quarter slot and landing across his body. Greenhill also mixed in a longer breaking curveball in the 73-76 mph range and a 79-81 mph sinking changeup. Overall, it’s not the type of present stuff that screams top round prospect, but with a return to full health Greenhill is also likely to see his velocity return at some point during the 2021 season. Combine that with his bulldog mentality, aptitude and the pitchability that he is now showing and it makes for a prospect to be considered during Day Two this July.
