(Thompson AL, 2024) Crook would make noise with the bat all day for the Warriors offense as he collected a pair of knocks in both games of their doubleheader on Tuesday and would pick up five RBI’s to go along with it. The Southern Union CC recruit is yet another physical, strong-bodied bat in the middle of a very talented Warriors lineup. During his first at-bat of game one, Crook would shoot a firm single into the back side gap for an RBI and would advance to second base on the throw home which would put Thompson up early after Bub Terrell’s two-run HR. Later in the game, as it was a back-and-forth contest throughout the day, Crook would deliver the game-tying hit that would land at the wall in right and bring home two more. Back on the barrel again in game two, as he would lace a two-strike, RBI single into right and give Thompson an early 1-0 lead over Riverdale. Very mature approach at the plate, works to both gaps and has power to all fields. Was a key contributor in Thompson’s pair of wins yesterday.
