Physical left hand hitting SS that has solid actions in the dirt. Shows nice lateral range with plenty of arm strength across the dirt. Could easily make the move to 3B in the future. At the plate started from a slightly open stance and did a nice job of being being ready to hit on time. Did a nice job of keeping the back elbow slotted which created a short, compact, powerful swing. Was really synched up and showed some twitch in the hands. Had legit pop to every part of the field. On the mound he was up 92 as well.
SS, had three hard hit balls, but just one hit. He squared up a lineout to center field with a 98 mph exit velo in his first at-bat before lacing a triple to deep left-center field in his second at-bat. It came off an 89 mph fastball and had a 100 mph exit velo. He struck out looking in his third at-bat and lined out hard to first base in his last trip.
SS, had a solid BP session, showing balance and keeping his barrel in the zone to hit hard line drives. He is committed to Auburn.
