Made the start for the Patriots in Game 1 of this AISA State Playoff series, and was efficient early on before getting bumped around a bit in the middle innings. Athletic profile on the mound with fast arm speed that produced a fastball that ranged 86-87, 88 mph (up to 2450 rpm) that looked a bit quicker out of the hand. Overpowering hitters with the heater on elevated fastballs with two strikes to get punch outs. Steady diet of fastballs early on due to inability to find the feel for a 73 mph slider, but flipped in more sliders for strikes as the outing went on. Struck out six hitters in 3 â…“ innings of work and gave up four earned runs on two swings (home run & a double). Garnering plenty of JUCO interest and offers as of late and should make a solid contribution to a college program.
