6-foot, 190 pound strong, durable build. From the left side of the plate, Morrison put on an impressive display of power during his round of BP. Worked mostly pull to middle, hitting a couple of balls out of the yard to the pull side gap. Ball comes off the bat loud, direct path to contact with quick, strong hands. At third base, he moves well to his left & ride with premium arm strength across the infield. Pitching primarily from the stretch on the mound, he showcased a fastball that was mostly 88-89 mph and bumped 90 mph on his last pitch of his lone inning of work. Breaking ball had late bite to it and 2200-2300 rpm's in terms of spin. He has been more of a back end guy in recent years, but is moving into a starter role in 2021. Definite two-way talent that has picked up some heavy interest as of late.
