Put together some great at-bats during the two game set at Florence on Friday. The left-handed hitting shortstop competes well in the box and makes it a tough first out for opposing pitchers. Braunschweig had base knocks in both games to all sides of the field and sparked the Thompson offense late in Game 2 to put pressure on the Falcons. Actions are smooth and clean at the shortstop position, and also moves well around the bases. Active skill set at 6-2, 175-pounds that generates plenty of leverage in a quick left-handed stroke.
