Uncommitted. Had a loud barrel in what was an otherwise hitless game for the Canes in their last pool play game on Monday. Hard line drive to deep left field w/ RISP cracked the first runs of the game. Had 300+ feet of carry and with an exit velocity of 89 mph, for a 2-RBI double. Ryker showed great confidence as their 2-spot hitter, and definitely a leader on this Canes 16u squad. Short-compact swing, toe-tap load, generates good bat speed, gets out of the box quickly, legged-out infield singles and caught multiple barrels throughout the tournament. He came in to pitch in the championship game on Tuesday against a solid TL10 16u team, and flirted with a no-hitter through 5 innings. FB(74-71, 2270-2100 RPM), CH(69-66, 1490 RPM), CV(66-64, 1799-2086 RPM). Had hitters out in front nearly the whole game, CH sat down in the zone for ground-ball outs, FB had command up and away from RHH for whiffs, CV threw for a good back-door look on the lefties.
