Slotted in the 3-hole for the Bulldogs, Potts is a steady performer and confident presence in the middle of the order. The right-handed hitter smoked two doubles on the day and hit one on the screws in his other at-bat, finished 2-4 w/ two doubles, A RBI, and a walk to his name. Balanced approach that looks to drive on each swing with intent. Stays in his legs well and gets the hands through with ease. Another sophomore for the Bulldogs that is playing a big role.

5-foot-9, 190-pound sturdy frame. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 8.61. Begins in an open stance with a quick load, then uses a small leg kick just before his swing. Has above average bat speed, upward swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 84 mph. Throw downs to second topped out at 66 mph; showed a fluid exchange and rhythmic footwork. Had clean setup. Behind the plate, produced pop times of 2.12-2.22. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a quick arm action and an-over-the-top slot.
