Starts in a balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Had a short simple swing plane, above average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Through his round he found lots of barrels with a lot of loud contact. Line drive approach. Smooth recorded an outfield position velocity of 75 mph; showed a quick natural exchange, athletic rhythmic feet, and soft consistent hands.
