Harville-Thomas is a 6-foot-1 230-pound outfielder with a large frame and physical build. He showed off his strength and raw power during batting practice. During his batting practice round he drove balls to the pull side running two of them out of the yard. He starts from an athletic stance with a smooth load and transition. He generates power a combination of fast bat speed and strength. His swing has an uphill bat path. He did get around balls on the outer third, but hammered balls middle in. Defensively he worked through the ball showing an accurate arm. During the 60 he ran a 6.75 showing off his athleticism.
