Bentonville West High School, Class of 2022; 6-foot-4, 190-pound athletic and project-able frame; 1B/LHP. During batting practice, the left-handed hitters best exit velocity was 85 mph. Began in balanced stance with a wrapping load, then used a leg kick just before his swing. Bat speed is rapid, displays an upward swing plane and a level finish, with power to the pull side. In the infield, showed his ability to throw 70 mph across the diamond; showed a natural exchange and developing footwork. Showed a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.08. On the mound, he used an over-the-top arm angle with a long arm action while showing quick arm speed to the plate. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses some effort in his delivery. Throws a running changeup that has very consistent accuracy and some action. His curveball (64-65 mph) worked best when he spotted up low in the zone; had slight action on his sinking curveball. He was clocked sitting at 68-70 mph.
