Quentin Edwards: Rogers Heritage High School, Class of 2022; 6-foot-2, 205-pound solid frame; 1B/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 85 mph. Started in open stance, had a small load and used a leg kick Showed a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and had a high finish. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 65 mph; showed soft hands and a natural exchange. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.83. On the mound, where he showed quick arm speed to the plate, he used an over-the-top arm angle with a long arm action. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses high effort in his delivery. Threw his 12/6 curveball 69-70 with some action and consistent accuracy. He sat with his fastball at 77-79 mph; with a max of 82 mph; has accuracy on his tailing fastball. He can keep hitters off balance when he located his changeup (75 mph) low in the zone.
