He uses average bat speed and an uphill swing to produce exit velocities up to 86 mph. Defensively, he plays through the baseball with some stiffness and normal actions. He uses a normal exchange with, throwing accurately from a H 3/4 arm slot 83 mph across the infield. Overall Box is a well rounded player with developed skill at most phases of the game.
