Brown is a 5-foot-5 catcher with an athletic frame and build. He uses an athletic stance to receive from, he maintains proper glove angles and soft hands while receiving. During blocking drills he showed adequate effort and technique. Offensively he uses an athletic stance with a slight load and stride, he attacks the baseball with a slight uphill swing. He produces line drives consistently with a feel for the barrel. Overall Brown is an advanced receiver with a compact swing.
