Jeff Zachry: OF/LHP, (2023) Har-Ber, AR. 5-foot-11, 185-pound physical frame. Started in a balanced athletic stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a controlled stride. Bat speed is above average, uses a short rotational swing plane and level finish. Had loud contact and found lots of barrels. Pull side approach. Projectable at the plate, Zachry clocked an exit velocity of 96 mph. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 85 mph. Athletic In the infield, shows a quick clean exchange, soft consistent hands, and athletic rhythmic feet. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball one hand. Had a quick arm action and an-over-the-top slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Solid on the mound, had a long arm action and a high arm angle with quick arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher who uses high effort. Displays even shoulders with an athletic balance point. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-80 mph; shows arm side control and fading action with heavy movement. His straight changeup (71-74) had early action and arm side command. Has a tight slider (72-74) that shows control around the zone and late action.
