6’1 175-pound frame. Starts square with rear heel point back towards the catcher. Strides heavy to front side but does a good job creating separation to keep upper half back. Most success when pulling the ball in BP. Loose actions with hands throughout swing. Exit velo was 87 MPH. 80 MPH throws from the outfield, inconsistent footwork leads to slower release time.
Fastball at 74 MPH from a ¾ slot. Big breaking ball with depth at 58 MPH. Change up with the same arm speed and slot as his fastball at 61 MPH.
6/6/18 - 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame. Projects to add considerable strength that will improve overall game. Hits from a slightly open stance with weight preset onto backside. Hands stay close to body and work to get extended at contact. High one handed finish; 75 mph exit velocity. Defensively profiles as a corner outfielder. Attacked balls head on and fielded ball in front of body. Short, choppy steps. Could improve footwork and rhythm. Loose arm action that produced a 74 mph outfield velocity. Also posted a 8.22 second 60-yard dash.
