Baack turned in a complete game effort in a big playoff moment, allowing just one run on five hits while punching out seven. The senior sat 87–90 and touched 91 with his fastball, working with tempo and commanding the zone throughout. He showed confidence in his secondary mix, featuring a changeup at 81–84 with late depth and arm-side run that played well off his fastball. His curveball showed tight 11–5 shape in the 75–77 range, flashing sharp bite and feel to land it in all counts. Baack’s composure and pitchability stood out on a night where he controlled the pace from start to finish. He also chipped in with a go-ahead RBI single in the third, continuing to provide value on both sides of the ball. A competitive, well rounded performer with polish and mound presence.

Baack turned in a dominant playoff outing, striking out 13 across 6.2 shutout innings. The lean right hander sat 87-89 mph and touched 90, mixing in a 79-83 mph changeup with late fade and a sharp 76-79 mph curveball that showed late break. Showed poise working out of traffic and the ability to miss barrels in key spots. If he can maintain a mature presence on the mound and fill out a bit, I can see him being a reliable bullpen arm at the next level.

Delivery: Athletic body with loose delivery, Get down the mound well for size.
Arm Action: RH. HTQ slot with loose arm
FB: T82.4, 81-82 mph. Threw well for strikes, came out of the hand clean with some arm side run. T1954, 1852 average rpm.
CB: 72-74 mph. Had good spin numbers that was effective in the zone, worked well off of FB plane. T2323, 2281 average rpm.
CH: 75-77 mph. CH had good sink action, threw well for strikes. T1590, 1509 average rpm.

Hits: RHH. Wide base, hands just outside of right ear. Short stride load, Hands get separation, swing path is flat with hands working outside the body causing more flight to the poolside

Arm: RH. OF-85 mph. Above AVG arm for age. has over the top action with good carry.
Defense: (OF) Very athletic getting to the ball with good transfer skills. Above avg arm that produced accurate throws to the bases.
Run: 7.61 runner in the 60. Good form with quick arm swing

Body: 5-8, 138-pounds. Athletic build.
Hit: RHH. Neutral stance, knock kneed, high back elbow, loads the hands and gets some length at times. Small loop in swing, path gets away from the body some. Has some athleticism in the box, a more direct and tighter path would benefit his profile.
Power: 79.2 max exit velocity, averaged 71.8 mph. 268’ max distance.
Arm:  OF - 74 mph. (OF) Quick and athletic arm, throws from a 3/4 slot. Has some projectable arm strength with arm action. Ball has some 2 seam flight.
Defense: (OF) Good athlete with quick and consistent footwork, attacks the ball well and is consistent to release.
Run: 7.76 runner in the 60. Twitchy actions.
